For years, Mother Nature smiled on every weddings that we have held. However, weather is always unpredictable. In the recent case, we had San & Charles’s wedding under a thunderheads.
Some say rain and thunder symbolize unity, fertility and renewal. Some say the rain drop act as the last tear the bride will shed for the rest of her life. Although most of us know this one is an applesauce.
I’ve always say the sentiment of the bride and groom totally call the shots of what happens when something goes wrong at a wedding. San & Charles was a great illustration of how they handle a bad weather. Even though there was thunder and pouring rain, San and Charles keep smiling through whatever happens. San & Charles’s ceremony was definitely memorable. The bride and groom were delightfully happy, everybody look delighted and our staff was wet through all the way to the underwear while we pulled this thing off.But WE DID IT enthusiastically and in a professional way.
In the case of bad weather like this, as a professional wedding planning team, we have it all under control. It may take the wedding planning team a few seconds to modify and execute the plan but there’s always a Plan B.
Being a wedding planner (but not a magician!), I cannot control the weather nor have 100+ umbrellas or hair dryers handy for every guests. However, please believe in our professionalism and we always have situation under control. As for the bride and groom, you are the ones who getting married and it’s all about the two of you. Trust your wedding planner until she says she doesn’t have it under control, then you can start to worry.
