Lily & Richard’s Wedding at Sergeants Mess

Lots of clients prefer to have their wedding ceremony with the background of Sydney Icon – Opera House & Harbour Bridge, they may choose Hickson Road Reserve Park, Royal Botanic Garden or Kirribilli. But today I’d like to share the wedding of a lovely couple (Lily & Richard) who have different ideas about their wedding. The wedding ceremony & reception at the very popular venue — Sergeants Mess in Chowder Bay, a unique waterfront venue offering amazing views of Sydney.

On the day, the groom Richard arrived the venue with his bestmen very early to greet guests. He seems very happy and excited.

Around 11am, our beautiful bride Lily arrived with her parents & bridesmaids. We asked her to hide for a while and the celebrant announced to all the guests that the ceremony would start soon. As the “Canon in D” played, Lily walked down the aisle slowly with her father and seeing Richard’s face light up.

After the simple but romantic wedding ceremony, they had the lunch reception in Sergeants Mess function room. With spectacular harbour views and exquisite intricacies of design, Sergeants Mess is a very attractive venue for wedding. Our colour18 decorators did the venue decoration for them. I love how the colours of light pink, hot pink and navy blue carried throughout the whole wedding from the bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen ties, centre pieces and cake detail. Our lovely Bride lily even made the special table card by herself.
Everyone enjoyed the reception.
